Named as one of the top 10 Future Stars of the Bar (Legal Week, November 2008), Jeremy Brier was described as "superbly confident, a genuine class act in the making".

Jeremy Brier has a broad commercial practice in line with Chambers profile, with particular experience and expertise in multi-party commercial disputes, shipping and international trade, banking and company disputes, VAT and international arbitration.

In 2010, Jeremy has been involved in numerous shipping arbitrations involving charterparty disputes, cargo claims and multi-million pound shipping disputes.

Jeremy has considerable experience as an advocate in the High Court, acting in all manner of arbitrations (including LMAA, ICSID, ICC and LCIA) and at tribunal and County Court level. He has a wide range experience in conducting trials, CMCs, interlocutory applications, injunctions, costs hearings, appeals and summary judgments.

Prior to his career at the Bar, Jeremy won the World Debating Championships in 2004 and was President of the Cambridge Union in 2001.
