Andrew Hochhauser has a broad-based practice with a substantial court and advisory practice. Some more recent high-profile work has included acting for the FSA in Financial Services Compensation Scheme Ltd v Abbey National; representing celebrity chef Gary Rhodes against his former agents; the Dresdner Kleinwort bonus claims (successfully representing the employees) [2009] IRLR 1035; the Ministry of Sound v Cook [IRLR] 2009 838, dealing with the striking out of claims; Instructed in the high-profile battle between inter-dealer brokers, Tullett Prebon v BGC. Other work has included acting for the Beckhams involving a claim against their former nanny, and the late Michael Jackson in his claim against Granada. Andrew is referred to in Chambers as ‘a Star of the bar’, and a ‘ferocious cross-examiner’ and by Legal 500 as "formidable" and "the best advocate I have seen in the Court of Appeal".
