Heading up an administrative team of over 30 employees, he has played a key role in the strategic development of Essex Court Chambers as it emerged from a predominantly shipping practice to its current standing as a magic circle set. He was pivotal to the decision to physically expand chambers, to meet the growing number of tenants and the increase in areas of specialisation, so that chambers now occupies 5 adjacent buildings in Lincoln's Inn Fields. Recognised as an active marketer and a pioneer in terms of being one of the first to recognise the benefits of making regular marketing trips visiting clients and contacts both nationally and internationally, he is also a speaker on management and strategy events relating to the Bar.Memberships
